Ok ... stop laughing! A Fartlek is a running term for a workout that includes slow mixed with fast paced running....but you know that!

You get them in races ... seriously, what more can you say.
3. Earn Better Grades!
Brain research shows that students who are physically active have increased brain activity which means……better grades!
4. Be a Rock Star on Field Day!!!
When you begin to run longer distances, you will improve not only your leg, stomach, and back muscles, but, also your lungs. This means that as you become a better runner, you will get better at all sports.
5. Meet A New BFF!
Join a running/mileage club! This is a great way to meet new friends with similar interests and goals!
